I’m not interested at all and I wouldn’t mind if I missed it. I totally understand that he’s about to lose against Oleksandr Usyk, but Joshua is a former unified world champion who has consistently fought at world level and the Franklin fight just wasn’t good enough for match fans. pay, especially if he’s on the hunt to get his title back. I’d rather see Dillian Whyte’s rematch, and I think a lot of people in the boxing world would agree.
Gary Logan (Former Southern Welterweight Champion)
I’m happy with it. AJ is still marketable and ambitious. Dillian Whyte has wrestled with Franklin, so AJ’s likely win over Franklin will create good conditions for him for future battles, especially the Whyte rematch – if Whyte also wins one Another good win.
Michael Conlan (Featherweight Candidate)
I love it. I think it’s the right opponent for Joshua to rematch. It’s not an easy battle but it’s the one he should win. He will face an in-game opponent, Franklin, who will make him work for everything. Good matchmaking.

It was a good fight to get him back after two losses and a change of coach – and the new coach didn’t want a comeback. But he should be fighting Deontay Wilder next summer and not Dillian Whyte, who is Franklin’s equivalent.
