The opening day card is highlighted by the Summer Solstice Cup and the Sprint into Summer Cup, both $30,000 first bet races. The Summer Solstice Trophy was won by Natasha’s Bizniz and jockey Kirk Johnson, coached by Barrington Siddo for Radcliffe Racing Stable owner. She returned $21.70 to her supporters.
MV Speed and jockey Pierre Mailhot crossed the rope for the first time in the Summer Sprint for coaches Richard Davis and Bruno Schickedanz, winning $13.40.
The next race day is Tuesday, June 7 at 4:05pm. Racing will run primarily Monday and Tuesday through October 18, with some exceptions for Sundays with special events.
