Apple Announces Winners of Swift Student Challenge: Know the Top 3 Apps
Apple announced the winners of the Swift Student Challenge including three students: Dezmond Blair, Elena Galluzzo, and Jawaher Shaman. The challenge was launched in February 2024, in which Apple announced 350 winners from several entries submitted in March. What is the Swift Student Challenge?
The Swift Student Challenge is Apple’s annual forum where thousands of student developers participate to showcase their coding talent and expertise through app playgrounds. The App Building Challenge includes 350 winners, and the top 50 winners will receive a visit to Apple’s Cupertino, California headquarters over the summer, AirPods Max, a certificate, and a free membership. One year fee for the developer program.

- Care Capsule by Elena Galluzzo: This app is an all-in-one assistant designed for the elderly. 2. MTB XTREME by Dezmond Blair: The app, created in Apple’s Swift coding language, gives users a 360-degree view of mountain biking trails. His bond inspired this app with his brother.
3. My Child by Jawaher Shaman: This app is built for people who have difficulty speaking. It will help users slow down their breathing, helping them talk effectively. The app uses AVFAudio to add audio. Shaman built this app by drawing inspiration from her father and grandfather, who struggled with speech impediment.
