Osmind EHR integrates Zoom for remote mental health care



San Francisco-based Osmind announced today that its electronic health record system for mental health clinicians has integrated Zoom virtual visits within its technology platform as a part of the ISV Partner Program in compliance with company regulations.

WHY IT IMPORTANT

In the Osmind EHR, clinicians can access a suite of digital tools to meet high patient needs, such as progress monitoring and logging tools.

The addition of virtual visits Zoom integration allows mental health providers to expand treatment options for vulnerable patients, including those with health conditions moderate to severe mental illness with which patients are unable to leave their homes, according to the company’s announcement.

Clinicians create a virtual mental health appointment using Zoom’s privacy feature, HIPAA compliant video technology, share that link with the patient and launch an online meeting directly from the Osmind patient app.

Providers do not need to manage additional carrier costs and patients do not need to install new technology on their phones or computers.
