Lexington-based Old Colony Insurance, a leading farm and horse insurance agency for more than 50 years, welcomes John David Christman.
With over 15 years of experience, Christman continues to grow as one of the leading insurance manufacturers in the equine industry. He was born and raised in Lexington and graduated from Transylvania University.
Christman grew up working and selling summers for Taylor Made before starting his career in the cattle insurance business with Equus/Standardbred Station in 2008.
“It has been exciting to begin this chapter in my career with Old Colony Insurance,” says Christman. “I am forever grateful to the Jones and Equus family for 15 wonderful years together. I look forward to continuing the legacy and standards of Old Colony’s late founders, Bill Carl and Nick Strong, in their roles.
