Horses will go on sale on Thursday, June 8, two days before the 155th Belmont Stakes, and there’s plenty of time for buyers to race to buy at the end of the spring/summer meeting at Belmont Park and Racecourse Saratoga meeting opens on July 13. Sales registrations will close on May 30 and catalogs will be released on May 31.

The NYTB has partnered with Wanamaker’s for its annual season horse auction for the past two years and sold the first racehorses bred in New York last July. The stallion season auction raises funds for the NYTB to further fulfill its mission of promoting breeding and horse racing in New York and protecting the welfare of industry stakeholders.
Wanamaker’s was founded three years ago and offers buyers and sellers a stable year-round marketplace with monthly online auctions.
