Poke Ball throwing video game Pokemon Mega Get there will be a new cabinet with improvements in quality of life. Bandai Namco revealed a new one Nagetore (Throw [and] Take it) Box which it will officially release in October 2022.
Pokemon Mega Get is an arcade game in which the player usually throws Poke Balls towards the screen. Many Pokemon will appear on the screen and the player will have to throw the balls accurately to catch them. A Legendary Pokemon will appear after the player successfully catches 100 Normal Pokemon. Early menu navigation such as stage selection will also require players to throw the ball towards their choice.
The first iteration of the Mega Get appeared in 2016, with the listing including the sixth generation Kalos region. Bandai Namco has since updated the game to add newer Pokemon from the seventh generation Alola region and the eighth generation Galar region.
The new one Box of Nagetore cabinet will bring many quality of life improvements to arcade games. The box will come with a bench so players can enjoy the game while sitting. It will also have a larger screen, increasing from 32 to 43 inches. A more enclosed environment will make the balls less likely to stray further. Friends and other viewers can also observe and record videos more securely.
Bandai Namco will be officially released Pokemon Mega Get: Nagetore Box for video games in Japan in early October 2022. Certain Namco video game centers have been offered exclusive early access to the new cabinet since September 2022.
