Two Pit Bulls abandoned in the woods. Thankfully, Good Samaritans saw the dogs and tried to rescue them. They had success with one, but the other was harder to catch. After several failed attempts, an animal rescue worker, named Cheryl, intervened.
Cheryl used everything she could think of to capture the skinny dog, later named Honey, but to no avail. Then she had a great idea! Since the puppies were left together, perhaps bringing in another dog would help Honey feel more comfortable. It works like a charm, especially since Honey is hot. She followed the other dog closely and Cheryl was able to tie a leash around her and get her into his car.
At first, Cheryl was going to take her to the shelter, but the poor dog turned off the phone. She was afraid she would only get worse in the shelter environment so Honey went home with her. Now is the time to help her stay healthy, both physically and mentally!
The healing process will take a while, but Cheryl is determined to give Honey the second chance at life she deserves… and what comes next is too good to miss.
