Missile can record the penultimate breeze at Churchill
Frank Fletcher’s Racing Activity’ Missiles can completed his penultimate exercise before the Kentucky Derby (G1) on May 6 when he went on five stretches at 1:01 April 23 at Churchill Downs.
Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott was on his trusty horse Bugsy while watching Rocket Can pass his stablemate six distances game warden . “It was probably a big ride in the Arkansas Derby,” Mott said. “One thing race tells me is that he still has a lot to offer in the tank. I don’t think he’s learned enough to give his all. That’s what you get at this time of year with the kids are 3 years old but they can improve quickly.He has a lot of route pedigree at the bottom with Tapit.We added flash in today’s work and will for the race.
