Mini is actively entering the world of special editions for its 2023 lineup, and today it unveiled three of them. These include Untold Edition, Resolute Edition and Untamed Edition. Not all special editions are available on all models, but each model has at least one special edition.
To our satisfaction, all of these models are legitimately interesting in terms of their looks, so let’s dive into it.
Mini Untold Version
The Untold Version exclusively for club peopleand you can specify it on the model’s performance trims, including S, S All4 and John Cooper Works. It’s the flashiest of the three special editions, and much of that is thanks to the 18-inch “Refined Brass” wheels and two-tone black wheels. This wheel is exclusive to the Untold Edition and it is bound to turn heads.
The outside is painted Sage Green, but the Mini has done something a little more special to separate the outside from the usual. Club people by matching the color of the plastic cladding with the outside paint. The Mini attacks the interior by installing leather seats in Sage Green paint with contrasting seams and piping. You’ll find Sage Green accents on the dashboard and ventilation holes that mimic the Exterior trim in Refined Brass. You’ll find the “Untold Edition” logo in a number of different places, like the steering wheel and side sills.
Mini Cooper S Clubman The Untold version starts at $42,500. It’s based on iconic trim on the top tier (like the other special editions announced today), which means it’s loaded with pretty much any option you could want. If you want the JCW version, the price jumps to $49,750. The Mini allows you to equip these special editions by simply adding a separate option package to the vehicle. For example, a regular Clubman S is made into an Untold Edition through a $2,250 package.
Small resolute version
The Resolute version can be applied to the widest range of Minis, including Cooper S 2-door hardtop, Cooper WILL 4-door hardtop, Cooper WILL Can be converted and Cooper SE. Well, this is the one you can get if you want the Mini SE to run on electricity.
This special Mini version has the exterior paint Rebel Green, formerly an exclusive paint color of JCW. It contrasts with the Pepper white roof and mirror caps, but on the Convertible these parts are black. Most of the exterior trim is done in “Strong Bronze”, which pairs quite nicely with the dark green paintwork. Just like the Untold Edition, the Mini has had some fun with its wheels and fitted 18-inch patterned and glossy black rims. Meanwhile, SE has the same 17-inch wheel design as regular cars.
Things get even more cynical in the interior, as the Mini uses grandiose checkered tweed for its seats. The dashboard has a gold border that mimics the stripes on the hood and features the Resolute logo on the steering wheel and door sills.
Prices for the Resolute Edition start at $36,750 for Hardtop 2 Doors. SE is $38,750 and Convertible is $41,250.
Mini Untamed Version
Untamed version exclusively for Great compatriot. You can specify it on either Cooper S CountrymanCooper S Countryman ALL4 or Cooper SE Countryman ALL4 plug-in hybrid.
A new exterior paint color for the Mini, Momentum Grey, has been applied to the exterior. This matches several exterior elements in the same Momentum Gray color, such as the side skirts, intake surrounds and reflector panels. Frozen Bluestone stripes and black badging create contrast, and the two-tone 18-inch wheels draw attention.
The interior of this model is even more attractive than the exterior. Here we get the Highland Green leather seats with gray inserts and green and blue stitching. Yes, there are a lot of colors here, but it works. The Mini’s dash trim is actually backlit and printed with a horizontal pattern so it’s pretty flashy at night. Like the other templates announced today, this one features special edition logos throughout.
The Cooper S Countryman Untamed starts at $42,750. It can be as expensive as $47,750 for Cooper Compatriot SE ALL 4.
Mini says that all of these special edition models will begin production in March of this year, and will seller many weeks later.
