A Florida thief was arrested despite trying to cover his face with a large cardboard box while stealing a store in Miami on Saturday (June 3). TMZ.
According to TMZ, the robbery happened around 4 a.m. at a phone repair shop in Miami Gardens.

Surveillance footage obtained by NBC 6 South Florida shows a man with a box on his head smashing a glass display case with an unidentified object.
Jeremias Berganza, the owner of Irepair Tech, said the robber with the box made 19 iPhones and more than $8,000 in cash. NBC6.
However, CCTV video captured him quickly lifting the box to see what he was grabbing. His face was exposed, eventually leading to his arrest a few hours later.
Immediately after the robbery, Berzanga said he watched surveillance video and stopped when the thief lifted the box from his face, causing the box to fall off and reveal his face.
The store owner then started looking for the suspect in the mall. He told authorities that he had warned other businesses to beware of the thief, who was still around at the time.
The Miami Gardens sheriff eventually located and arrested the suspect who was drinking at a nearby pub.
NBC6 later identified the man in the cardboard box as Claude Vincent Griffin, 33 years old.
Police charged Griffin with grand theft, burglary, crime and cocaine possession. He was also charged with resisting an officer without violence, the outlet reported.

A short police bodycam clip appeared showing Griffin being arrested. His photo, also obtained by NBC 6, shows Griffin with a large golf ball-sized wound on his face.
