Since you left, Kelly Clarkson teased her new music.
The singer, 40, recently shared a short video of herself singing a part of her song “Mine”, which was released on April 14.
“Someone will show you how to use a heart,” she sings in the April 4 Instagram clip, “just like you did to me.”
And fans can’t help but think of the first single from her upcoming album Chemistryis a nod to her breaking up with her husband Brandon Blackstock.
“Correct!!!!!” one follower wrote in the comments. “The divorce file we’ve all been waiting for.” Add another, “Oh, I don’t want to be Brandon right now.”
The preview for the song comes more than a week after Clarkson, who also recently made headlines for her cover of the song. Gayle’s “abcdefu”—announced that she will be releasing her 10th studio album. And while Clarkson didn’t specifically detail the inspiration behind “Mine,” she did share how she came up with the name. Chemistry.
