Despite shedding some of its lineup this year, MG continues to offer a single variant of its most affordable SUV yet.

Customers looking for a turbocharged engine will have to upgrade to the relevant version MG ZSTbecause the ZS only comes with a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine.
The ZS misses out on the ZST’s safety suite, which includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert just to name a few.
The ZST is an updated model based on the ZS SUV and includes a host of active safety features as well as four variants including two powertrain options. ZST has a choice of a 1.5 liters naturally aspirated or 1.3 liter turbocharged petrol engine.
Its base price is $3000 higher than the ZS Excite.
As of June, the MG ZS leads the segment with 13,579 units delivered so far this year, although that figure also includes ZST and ZS EVs. MG holds a 20.3% market share in VFACTS’ sub-$45,000 compact SUV segment.
The MG ZS series sells better than competitors like Kia Seltos (5517), GWM Haval Jolion (5523) and Mazda CX-30 (6098).
