Mercedes-Maybach is getting a new look for what it hopes will be a new car generation of the buyer — someone who wants to embrace the company’s new electrified luxury cars. The new Night Series will be made available on all three existing models maybach squad, with WORLD RANGE and EQS SUV variants will launch later this year and the GLS will launch in early 2024.
While the implementation of each Night Series depends on the model in question, they do share some elements. Their headlights, for example, are all adorned with a dark chrome Maybach logo on rose gold trim. You’ll see that dark chrome finish almost everywhere you’d normally see sparkle, from the grille and exterior trim to the coating on the rear exhaust finisher. And then there are the wheels. I don’t know what to say, quite honestly. Just look at them. And while you’re at it, look at the running board on the EQS SUV.
While the cars on display here are pretty much identical, the differences will come from the finishing choices and the possibility of further individual customization. All three are offered with the two-tone Black Obsidian/Mojave Silver color combination shown here. The EQS SUV will also be available in Obsidian Black and Manufaktur Diamond White finishes, the S-Class can be available in different shades of gray, black and white, and the GLS can be available in either white or Obsidian Black.
Inside, you’ll find perforated, herringbone-patterned wood with aluminum accents along with another layer of black chrome. EQS SUV and GLS can be optionally wrapped in Nappa leather with two-tone Crystal White/Black Pearl or Simple Black Pearl. In the S-Class, you can get Nappa leather in either Dark White/Black Pearl or Straight Black Pearl.
