MB&F adds an eye-catching light blue dial color to the collection of titanium-cased Legacy Machine Perpetual EVO watches that the independent watchmaker first launched in 2020.

New MB&F LM Perpetual EVO Blue

When MB&F launched the EVO, it was a sportier, zirconium-cased version of the award-winning Legacy Machine Perpetual, originally adorned with an orange, blue or black dial. MB&F later added a titanium-cased version with a green dial to the collection in 2021.

This latest iteration drops the 2021 model and replaces it with the LM Perpetual EVO Blue, featuring a cool, ice blue CVD dial.

The The machine inherits the EVO permanently has crafted a sporty chassis and new colors around the original GPHG award-winning Legacy Machine Perpetual from 2015, created by watchmaker Stephen McDonnell for MB&F.

McDonnell effectively redesigned the traditional perpetual calendar when he built the LM Perpetual with a so-called ‘mechanical processor’. Essentially a series of stacked disks, this component sets the default number of days in the month to 28 and then adds additional days as each month requires.

McDonnell also incorporated a safety feature that disconnects the pushers during date switching to eliminate any risk of damage to the movement when the date is changed.

With the EVO 2020 version, MB&F has added a series of technical upgrades to that watch, effectively enhancing its shock and moisture resistance. EVO offers a redesigned, sleeker case, ergonomic double spring pushers, integrated rubber strap, Super-LumiNova, specially developed ‘FlexRing’ shock absorber system, screw-down crown and water resistance to 80 meters.
