Model 2022 Masters top predictions
One big shock the model is calling for at Masters 2022: McIlroy, a 20-time PGA Tour champion and one of the top favorites, stumbles past Augusta and finishes outside the top 10. McIlroy’s The 2021 Masters is one to forget, as he shoots more than six times and misses out on a cut for the first time in more than a decade.
The Irishman is arguably the best driver on the tour, standing among the top five in driving distances for six consecutive seasons. However, his accuracy at teeing off did not keep pace with his length, as he ranked 109th in steering accuracy and 154th on the green in regulation rate. Also, once McIlroy finally hits the green, he won’t convert, as he ranks 151st in triple dodge.
