Brendan Rodgers has once again reiterated his commitment to Leicester, insisting that rumors linking him to the Manchester United job are “bogus”.
The Foxes coach, who led the club to win the FA Cup last season, is among the names shortlisted by the Red Devils as the club consider a successor to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
However, the former Liverpool head coach has stayed away from those rumors, insisting that he is happy at the King Power Stadium.

Rodgers was speaking during a press conference to preview the Europa League match against Legia Warsaw, and Manchester United’s vacancy was unsurprisingly among the topics raised by reporters.
“I don’t see it as anything, it’s not real,” he said, “There are always rumors and that will be until they appoint a full-time manager.
“My commitment is here. The culture here is about player development, and that’s where I see that, even more so in this period.”
PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino is seen by many as United’s preferred choice to succeed Solskjaer. The former Tottenham manager is also said to be interested in the move, but PSG do not want to lose the Argentinian mid-season and have rejected United’s initial investigation.

As a result, Manchester United are expected to push ahead with their original plan of appointing an interim manager until the end of the season before making a permanent appointment in the summer.
