Konami teases Silent Hill News for Wednesday
Konami has a new number Silent Hill-relevant information up its sleeve. The company promised fans and curious outsiders the “latest updates” for the series during a live-streaming event the company is calling for. Silent Hill Transmission, scheduled to begin Wednesday, October 19, at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time (or October 20, 6:00 a.m. Japan Time). The timing of the announcement indicates that a Silent Hill remake or some other related project ready to be published.
The announcement was made via a Tweet from Silent Hill official account.

The tweet asked fans “In your restless dreams do you see that town?”, accompanied by a link to a new story Portal. At the moment, the page is an image promoting the live stream schedule and what looks like a revamped logo for the series. Masahiro Ito, who served as the Art Director on Silent Hill 2also retweeted the announcement.
In terms of gameplay, the franchise has been mostly dormant for a long time, although rumors and leaks suggest a revival is in the works.
