Part of Square Enix and Sony’s marketing plan for Final Fantasy XVI involving cats dressed as Eikons for an advertisement. In the new short teaser, you can see the two cats wearing some Ifrit and Phoenix inspired accessories. For example, one has horns and the other has wings. They then play around a building based on the one seen in Rosaria in the game.
This is a Japanese PlayStation commercial that shows cats dressed up as Final Fantasy XVI Eikons Ifrit and Phoenix as they recreate an early game battle. This scene also appears in the demo. Some gameplay footage was also interlaced for the segment.

This one is very different from the other Final Fantasy XVI ad Square Enix shared. The company has already announced several that appear in Japan. In addition to a truck driving around with pictures, there is also a 3D animated billboard with Eikon like Ifrit, Shiva and Titan on it.
While this is the first time seeing a cat dressed as Final Fantasy XVI Eikons, we’ve seen this happen to dogs. Square Enix held a Paws of Valsthea event in Australia. Part of the draw is that you can also see the dogs and bring your own to dress them up in Eikon outfits.
Final Fantasy XVI will be available for PlayStation 5 on June 22, 2023. The demo is also out now. this is a exclusivity period six months.
