A judge has sided with Kim Kardashian and has ruled she is legally single.
During Tuesday’s hearing, Kim appeared via video conference but according to TMZ, Kanye West was not present.
Kanye had been fighting for a divorce but Kim asked the judge to speed up the process because she said their marriage could not be repaired.
“I really wanted a divorce. I asked Kanye to keep our divorce private, but he didn’t. Kanye gave a lot of false information about private matters in the family and our common upbringing on social media.I believe the court termination of our marital status will help Kanye accept that our marital relationship is over and move on on the road For the better, this will help us raise our children together peacefully,” Kim’s legal document reads.
“While I wish our marriage would be successful, I’ve come to realize that there’s no way to fix our marriage. Kanye disagrees but at least he seems to have realized that. I want to end our marriage, even if he doesn’t. I ask the Court to restore me to single status so I can begin the healing process and let my family we can begin the healing process and move on to this new chapter in our lives.”
