Jon Bernthal is on the road to revenge again.
The actor will reprise his role as the Punisher—aka Castle Frank—in the upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Reincarnationbased on Hollywood Reporter. He previously played the ruthless bodyguard in the second season of Netflix reckless before getting his own spinoff.
Bernthal’s casting helps clarify ‘s raised eyebrows Rosario Dawson—who appeared as Claire Temple on reckless and then reprise the role on Jessica Jones And Iron Fist.
“I found out yesterday that who punished happened again so I feel like it’s my second chance,” Dawson said during an appearance at Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo on Aug. 7. “It’s the only show that I don’t attend. family and I love Jon Bernthal so let’s all make it happen collectively, guys.”
