Take the motorcycle trip of a lifetime with us on the Edelweiss Bike Travel Grand Alps Tour. Join Horseman Contributed by photographer Kevin Wing on a 15-day tour through Austria, Switzerland, France and Italy. The Alps have some of the best motorbike routes in the world and this tour has been carefully designed to include beautiful scenery, overnight stays in charming alpine villages and towns, every hundreds of hairpin turns and some of the highest passes in the Alps.
The tour begins in the town of Seefeld in the Austrian state of Tyrol, then travels through Austria, stopping one night in the village of Galtür, then into Switzerland, stopping in Andermatt, a village in the Swiss Alps. The tour heads west through Switzerland and into France at Chamonix, a town at the foot of the famous 12,000-foot Aiguille du Midi. In France, the tour will circumnavigate the snow-capped Montblanc mountain with a stop in Briançon, the highest city in France and the second highest in Europe.
After France, you’ll head to Italy with stops in Aosta, Lago Maggiore, Livigno and Collalbo. The tour spends a rest day in Collalbo in the Dolomites before returning to Austria to the ski town of Kaprun. After 15 days of some of the best horseback riding in Europe, the tour ends in Seefeld.

Included in the tour price are all overnight stops at comfortable mid-range hotels, daily breakfast, 2 picnics, 11 dinners, motorbike rental, third party liability insurance, package Tourist information, tour guides and luggage support vans.
Available motorbike rentals include models from BMW, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, KTM, Suzuki and Triumph, and prices for the tour start at $7,670 for the rider in a double occupancy. Optional upgrades include certain motorbike models, a single room for $960, an Alpine Preparatory Course for $470, and a Guided City Tour for $460.
