A plastic figure of Ra’s Yu-Gi-Oh winged dragon will be on display
Bandai Spirits will display a plastic model of the Winged Dragon of Ra from Yu-Gi-Oh in The 62nd Shizuoka Hobby Exhibition. The event will take place from May 8 to 12, 2024, at Twin Messe in Shizuoka and there will be no entry fee. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]
The plastic model is part of the Standard Amplifier line and will be available for purchase sometime in the future. You’ll be able to see the finished version, albeit without paint, at the show. It seems that from the photo, Ra looks like it’s flying, as it leans more forward than it does on the card or other figures its. Once you get your own version of the figure, whenever Bandai Spirits starts selling it, you’ll be able to pose it however you want.
Winged Dragon of Ra is one of three Egyptian God cards from the original Duel monsters Yu-Gi-Oh series. Like other God cards, its ATK and DEF depend on certain conditions. In the case of Winged Dragon of Ra, it depends on the amount of LP you pay. The Winged Dragon of Ra is more prominent as a monster in the show, although Marik, the antagonist of the Battle City arc, used it against the main characters.
Winged plastic model of Ra from Yu-Gi-Oh will be on display and a consumer version will be released in the future.
