Now that Tommy Fury will no longer be Jake Paul’s rival on August 6 as planned, the 5-0 calendar week lore social media star Paul will officially face 12-1 Hasim Rahman Jr. , son of former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman. , instead of. “Bigger, stronger, more experienced,” Paul tweeted Thursday morning via a poster of himself and Rahman. “KO power But it doesn’t matter. They don’t have my heart, don’t have my motivation and certainly don’t have my team. August 6, I’m showing the world that Jake Paul is a terrible mother. ”

Fury was said to be Paul’s dance partner on August 6, but was not allowed into the US for reasons still unknown. The matter was never resolved, but Paul made an offer to Fury on Thursday morning: “I believe you are a scared boy,” he tweeted to Fury, “who doesn’t want to fight fight or understand the business. I’ll pay you $500K to fight me in the UK. I’ll do it as soon as August 6. You accept?” Fury, for what it’s worth, has no. “I won’t get out of bed to fight you for $500k,” he replied. “Let me know when you’re ready to have a serious conversation.”

Apparently Paul had serious conversations with 31-year-old Rahman. Earlier in the week, Paul made it clear he was lining up an opponent should the fight with Fury end. Rahman is an understandable choice – as he and Paul have fought in the past. However, there are those who see Rahman as a serious challenge to Paul, only watching the video of the two men fighting as evidence. It’s also important to note that Rahman is an experienced professional boxer, something Paul has never faced in a tournament match.

Paul-Rahman will compete in eight rounds in the cruiser class. The match will share the August 6 Madison Square Garden card main event slot with the Amanda Serrano-Brenda Carbajal featherweight title fight. Paul, however, is the main draw when it comes to casual fighting fans. Since the match against Rahman was announced, the news has quickly climbed the trending list on Twitter. Like him or not, Paul is perhaps one of the biggest draws in contemporary boxing. He also proved to be quite tough in choosing his opponents. No one can say that he is not ready to challenge himself.
