Jaime Munguia Defeat Gonzalo Coria in 3

Former 40-0 world player Jaime Munguia returned to the ring on Saturday in Guadalajara to lead a main match that was even broadcast live by DAZN. The opponent of 26-year-old Munguia in the scheduled 10th-half middleweight match is the unannounced Gonzalo Coria 21-5. Suffice it to say, Munguia, who has been criticized recently for his recent selection of opponents, is expected by many to win unequivocally.
Munguia overcame the southern Coria with ease in the first game although Argentina’s Coria made it clear through his belligerence that he entered to win. With that said, Coria was able to dodge the majority of Munguia’s punches for most of the second. It’s a smart strategy, but will it last long and prove to be a winning strategy? Truth is, it didn’t even get Coria through the ring. First, a hard Munguia punch knocks out Coria. However, he was able to get up and survive this chapter. He was merely prolonging the inevitable.
Munguia delivered powerful blows in the third round, causing his man’s face to bleed. A body shot knocked Coria down at the end of the round. He didn’t beat the count. In short, Munguia takes care of the business, which is exactly what he is supposed to do. The question now is whether Munguia will be seriously competitive in 2023.
