Until recently, full-frame zoom lenses never went beyond f/2.8, but in the last few years we’ve seen lenses like Canon RF 28-70mm f/2L Push the boundaries of design. I got my own Canon lens about a year ago, and it has replaced some primes in my pocket, and the leap in convenience is hard to overstate.
