Fasig-Tipton Add 29 to Midlantic 2 Year Olds Sale


Fasig-Tipton cataloged 29 additional entries for Midlantic May 2-Year-Olds in the May 20-21 Training Sale at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Md.

These entries, classified as hips 557-585, cover children as young as 2 years old Bolt d’Oro , Gun Runner , Pull hard , into mischief , justification , Not this time , Quality roads , Speightstown And faucet .

“These additions add quality to an already strong portfolio,” said Paget Bennett, Fasig-Tipton Midlantic sales director.

The Under tack show will take place in three sessions from May 14 to 16, starting at 8 a.m. each day. The sale starts at 11am

Last year’s auction was topped by Nuit Magique, a $1 million Arrogate horse, consigned by Hartley/DeRenzo Thoroughbreds and purchased by international bloodstock agent Kerri Radcliffe. She hasn’t started yet.

Also among the top buys of 2023 are Sabatini ONE Uncle Mo escape victorious Blame daughter Gabriellestoblame, who Solis/Litt purchased for $625,000 from Pick View. Sabatini is currently raced by NK Racing and LNJ Foxwoods and is trained by Josie Carroll. The filly broke her maiden and became a stakes winner on April 27 in the Star Shoot Stakes at Honeysuckle.

Last year’s Midlantic sale sold 375 horses for a total value of $34,795,500. Colts averaged $94,729 and fillies averaged $91,053 a year ago. The overall average is $92,788.

All entries can be viewed online and in equestrian applications. Printed catalogs including additional sections will be available on a sales basis.
