Scientists issue ‘final warning’ on climate crisis: act now or too late
IPCC report says only swift and drastic action can prevent irreparable damage to the world
Scientists have issued a “final warning” about the climate crisis, as growing greenhouse gas emissions push the world to the brink of irreparable damage that only requires swift action and action. Only drastic measures can be prevented.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), composed of the world’s leading climate scientists, has launched the final part of its huge Friday review report in Monday.
This comprehensive review of human knowledge about the climate crisis took hundreds of scientists eight years to compile and is thousands of pages long, but it boils down to one message: act on it. Act now, or it will be too late.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres said: “This report is a clear call for rapid climate efforts by every country, every sector and across every time frame. Our world needs climate action on all fronts: everything, everywhere, all at once.”

Climate change is widespread, rapid and accelerating, and some trends are currently irreversible, at least for the current time frame, according to the latest report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. climate change (IPCC), announced Monday.
Human-caused climate change has affected many extreme weather and climate conditions in every region of the globe. Scientists are also observing changes throughout the Earth’s climate system; in the atmosphere, in the oceans, icebergs, and on land.
Many of these changes are unprecedented, and some are ongoing, while some – such as sea levels continue to rise – has been ‘irreversible’ for centuries to millennia, front, warning report.
But there’s still time to limit climate change, IPCC Experts say. Strong and sustained reductions in emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases could quickly lead to better air quality, and over the next 20 to 30 years, global temperatures could stabilize.

Global warming first became a personal issue for me in 2010. I was backpacking in the one-of-a-kind Wind Rivers west of Wyoming. I cannot tell you, for many years, how much I have loved those mountains, the most unspoiled range of the Lower 48; My tent is the only human thing on a mile-long lakeshore.
But the mark of man has come. The hillsides had turned brown with dying pines, the acres dotted with gray dead trunks. This is the job of bark beetles that are no longer controlled by cold winters, and you can now see it all over the American West.

UN predicts disaster if global warming goes unchecked

″Eco-refugees will become a major concern, and what’s worse is that you may find that people may move to drier lands, but the land and natural resources may not support life support. Africa doesn’t have to worry about land, but would you like to live in the Sahara?” he said.

Before anyone tries to assert that the 1989 claim is not an actual UN warning, even Snopes fact-checkers concede it was a real UN warning. ;

The year 2000 passed and no great nation was wiped off the Earth due to global warming. Just as nothing bad will happen in the face of the latest UN warnings.
My only interest in this ridiculous charade is for the naive young people who take these warnings seriously and feel miserable because the elders don’t act, don’t show any any sense of urgency about preventing an impending apocalypse.
But at least for some, that suffering doesn’t last forever. As you get older, you become wiser, at least in learning to judge how trustworthy others are. How many times can a rational person misunderstand the United Nations and other supposedly authoritative figures, and still accept no doubt their latest extravagant predictions about the tragedy? impending disaster?
After you’ve spent thirty years with failed predictions of the climate crisis, apocalyptic fears, and impending disasters not coming true, most people have learned not to overdo it. take such statements seriously, whether they admit it or not. My proof of this assertion is the failure of various Green Parties to sweep parliaments and parliaments around the world.
