It has rough edges, but it’s really memorable
First Person Psychological Horror Adventure Game In mind the sound To be Free this week on the Epic Games Store, and it was an easy “yeah, you should check this out” recommendation. You may not finish it, but you should at least try it. It is quite ambitious.
If you are someone who likes to look for clues and solve puzzles in a fairly open environment “big but not .” also large, “maybe you will dig In mind the sound.
Things start off spooky enough in a strange apartment building, and from there, you’ll discover twisted dreams, from a lighthouse with a stinging eye to a grocery store with a wandering ghost. Each area is a self-contained area with its own storyline, although everything fits together in the end. It’s kind of creepy, weird, and cheesy at the same time. Although there are flaws and difficulties to come up with – and I also have technical problems in my review of the PS5 version – undeniably In mind the soundof creativity.
At some point, the game stopped being scary to me… but you know, I really don’t mind. It still holds my attention, thanks in large part to its sense of discovery and atmosphere. It’s also not a short game – it could easily take ten hours to complete.
All this to say that if you’re interested from afar, play In mind the sound Free on PC. Or, knowing our habits, at least buy back a copy so you have it for a rainy day.
Next week’s match, Demon’s Tilt, would be a great freebie. It’s one of those marbles games that isn’t just a digital recreation of real-world machines – rather, it’s a “mystery marbles action” Video Game. We’ve seen a lot of these titles (my mind immediately goes back a few decades to Crush aliens and Devil’s Crush) and they ruled.
