Iker Lecuona will replace Alex Rins at British Grand Prix
MotoGP 2023
Nine Round Silver Stone
LCR Honda Castrol racer Alex Rins is continuing to recover at home from injuries to his fibula and tibia following a crash at Mugello’s Sprint.
Surrounded by the best professionals in the field, Rins is making a solid daily plan to be ready to ride when the time comes.
However, for the British Grand Prix, which will take place on August 6 at Silverstone, compatriot Lecuona from Team Honda WorldSBK will take over and replace Rins on LCR Honda.
Iker Lecuona
“I wish Alex a speedy recovery; I know how difficult these situations are. In the meantime, I’m happy to ride because I want to do my best and help the team. Besides, I like the layout of Silverstone, and we can have fun. I want to thank the Honda family and LCR for the opportunity“.
