If you exercise a lot, can you eat everything and still be healthy?

Associate Professor Melody Ding, lead author of the study, said: “Both regular physical activity and a healthy diet play an important role in promoting health and longevity. Scientists are looking forward to future studies, because the long-term effects of how diet and physical activity interact are poorly understood. It seems like you can maintain a relatively healthy weight if you exercise a lot, even if your diet isn’t of the highest quality. But you can’t eliminate the adverse effects of a poor diet entirely by exercising alone.

And this is not really surprising. While exercise is essential for good health, it does not help remove all toxins and other harmful substances from your food or body.
