ICC Issues Invitation to Tender for Media Rights on June 20


The International Cricket Council (ICC) will issue the first Invitation to Tender (ITT) for media rights for the next cycle, starting from 2024, on Monday (June 20).

The first ITT will be for the Indian market only, with up to six TV-only, digital-only, or a combination of the two.

For the first time, men’s and women’s rights will be sold separately, and potential partners can bid for 16 Men events (over 8 years old) and six Women events (over 4 years old), totaling 362* and 103 * Matches respectively. Interested parties will be asked to submit bids for the first four years of the men’s events. However, they also have the option to bid for an eight-year partnership.

“International cricket continues to attract huge audiences and that is driving significant interest from broadcasters for ICC events.
