“I wish I could actually help her out”

As many of you know Brittney Griner is currently on trial after she was detained by Russia since February after she allegedly had a vape canister with hash oil in her luggage. She has since pleaded guilty to Russia but denied that she intended to break the law. Many celebrities have voiced support for Brittney’s return to the country, the latest to speak out is Chris Brown.

In a post shared on his Instagram story, Chris said,

“It’s none of my business. But… .. it’s F*reveals what they’re doing with Brittney Griner. IF THIS IS A MALE STAR YALL WILL BE MORE THAN AND BETTER. LAMP SH *T LIKE F* CK. I WANT I CAN REALLY HELP HIM.”

Like before reported, on Thursday, Brittney told the court, “I want to plead guilty, for your honor. But no intention. I don’t want to break the law.”

The day before the guilty plea, the White House shared that President Biden and Vice President Harris spoke to Brittney’s wife Cherelle Griner after Brittney wrote to Biden asking for his help to bring her home.

The White House released a statement saying, “The President called Cherelle to reassure her that he was working to secure Brittney’s release as soon as possible, as well as the release of Paul Whelan. and other U.S. citizens who are unlawfully detained or held hostage. Russia and the world. He also read her the draft of the letter the President sent to Brittney Griner today.”

If convicted, Brittney could face up to 10 years in prison. Based on CNNHer next hearing will be on July 14.
