Rae Sremmurd rapper Slim Jxmmi has been arrested for domestic violence.
Police were called to his 20th-floor apartment in the CANVAS apartment building. When officers showed up, a woman told them he had pulled her hair from her scalp to prevent her from picking up their sleeping baby from a playpen after a dispute over a woman he is following on Twitter.
Slim Jxmmi is said to have told her he was going to the gym, but she suspected that he would meet the woman at a bar.
She allegedly took a video of the attack and the rapper scrambled for her phone but she said she tried to send the video to an Instagram friend before he stepped in and threw it from the balcony, police said.
Slim Jxmmi was admitted to Miami’s Knight Turner Guilford Correctional Center this morning at 11:27 am. His bond was set at $1,500.
