We find themes, editing styles, and techniques that we like and start building on them. After all, it’s natural human habit to find something we’re comfortable doing and stick with it. And that’s a good thing to an extent: we need techniques and styles we can rely on, especially when we’re monetizing our photography. However, there is also a balance: pushing yourself out of your comfort zone allows you to grow as a creator, stay competitive, and most importantly, stay satisfied.
