Winter will soon be upon us and seemingly familiar landscapes will completely transform into completely different worlds. Therefore, a different approach is needed to create attractive landscape images. Winter is my favorite time of year for landscape work simply because it can be so different. If I had to give one piece of advice, it would be to bring a Unmanned aircraft if you own one. All snow and ice can create interesting and strange abstract geometric structures and contrasts that are only visible from above. And if you take pictures on something like a lake, you’ll get new images most of the day as the ice moves and creates new patterns. Best of all, you can sit in your warm car while shooting!
