Honda announces the Gold Wing 2023 series
Despite the concerns of some that Honda would discontinue production of its famous flagship Gold Wing motorcycle – presumably punctuated by the announcement in July that the Gold Wing Roaders Association had close the door – the company recently announced the return of the Gold Wing family in 2023.
Expected to hit the market in November, the new Gold Wings will come in four different trims, three of which feature Honda-exclusive Dual clutch transmission (DCT).

Family Honda Gold Wing 2023
With its massive 1,833cc liquid-cooled horizontal six-cylinder engine, the 2023 Honda Gold Wing still boasts all the features touring racers love, including throttle-by-wire, four driving modes (Tour, Sport, Econ, and Rain), Honda Selectable Torque Control (Gold Wing Tour models only), Hill Start Assist, cruise control and the brake system combines electronic control with ABS. The Gold Wing DCT and Tour DCT models feature Walk Mode for forward and backward travel and curb weight savings through the absence of a reverse idler shaft.
In 2021, a number of audio enhancements have been included, including richer sound, optimized auto volume control, standard XM radio antenna, and Android Auto integration. Apple CarPlay integration. Speakers that were upgraded to 45 watts in 2021 have been upgraded again in 2022 to a 55-watt rating.
The Gold Wing’s trunk is also upgraded for 2021 and now holds 61 liters – enough for two full-face helmets – making for a total volume of 121 liters including the saddlebag.
