It’s definitely a dark scene, but I’d love to see it Fate / Grand Order Characters appearing in The Genshin effect! Specifically Cu Chulainn Berserker or the face of Destiny franchise, Saber Artoria. Both IPs are pretty big in the mobile gaming market, so it might make sense! Personally, I hope miHoYo hits the low end this time around, by combining the characters it already possesses. Of course, I’m talking about adding a proper crossover Honkai Impact characters to The Genshin effect. This early year, Honkai added Prinzessin der Verurteilung, everyone’s favorite Fischl, to the playable list. How about bringing in one of the Valkyries Genshin friction?

There’s always something hilarious to me when fighting or action games incorporate characters that are clearly not meant for combat. Example: the inclusion of Phoenix Wright Marvel vs Capcom, or recently Doraemon intersect in Granblue Fantasy! It’s not only funny but it’s also interesting to see how they play or act in a genre completely foreign to them.
In that context, I thought it would be fun to see The Genshin effect have an exchange with fellow miHoYo gamer Tears of Themis. The mental image of these good looking boys sending a Slime and then saying a few cheesy romances will never stop being a big serotonin booster, perhaps. Also, it means Kaji Yuki or Fukuyama Jun in Genshin, and that’s always a big plus. – Stephanie
It will be some time before this can happen. You know, because there’s no Switch version. But when there? I want one of these Fire Emblem everyone in there. Specifically, I want to see Awakening Fire IconLucina’s The Genshin effect. She is a sword user, this is an age-old weapon. It means Parallel Falchion could appear as a sword exclusive to Switch owners.
We already know that there are mysteries of dimension and time to her. If they wanted to really do something special, they could include the standard outfit and “Masked Marth” for her. I think it will be fun. – Jenny
I agree with Jenni that the launch of the Nintendo Switch could very well bring The Genshin effect intersect with it. However, Nintendo has been really protective of its characters so far. So, instead of Lucina (or Obvious Link), I think we could see something from a less popular franchise that still has broad appeal to aesthetic fans. America: Pyra.
