Yesterday, Pokémon artist James Turner – known in recent times as the art director of Pokémon Sword & Shield – announced that he has switched from Game Freak to established a brand new game studio with his old friend (@onebitbeyond), called All Probable Futures.
At the time, Turner teased the studio’s first game – saying how the reveal would happen “very soon”, and sure enough, the game has now been revealed in the latest rollout. by Devolver Digital. Introduce Plucky Squire – launching on all platforms including Switch in 2023.
It follows the magical adventures of Jot and his friends – the characters discover there is a three-dimensional world beyond the pages of their books when the villain chases them out. Players will jump between 2D and 3D worlds in this action adventure while solving puzzles, playing badger boxing and even flying around in a jet.
