Ford Ranger Raptor spotted with less camo next to a Bronco Raptor
We have seen the next generation Ford Ranger in all its glory was in vansglobal reveal, but what we haven’t seen is forest rangerhigh performance Raptor off-road variant. You’re watching our best look at the upcoming Raptor in the shoot spiesand it’s testing with Bronco Raptor.
These latest photos show some camouflage already obscured our vision before. Most importantly, the large black cloth covering the grille is gone, revealing the honeycomb-like texture underneath. There is a bar that divides the honeycomb grille in two and this is where the word “FORD” appears in extremely large font size. We can also see the shape of the lower bumper opening and clearly see the giant slide below the bumper. The rest can be filled by what we know the standard Ranger looks like with its C-shaped headlight modules and spiky hood.
Moving further to the rear, we can see the look of the truck with strong BF Goodrich off-road tires and dark gray wheels. A running board, similar to that on standard trucks is visible on the sides. And at the rear, we finally get to see a real exhaust instead of the test tube we saw before. This means that Ford has also fitted it with what looks like a rear bumper closer to production that allows the exhaust to be positioned super high and out of the way of off-road obstacles.
For it Bronco Raptor test partner, these photos show us what the two all-terrain vehicles look like side by side. Just like the previous photos, these suggest that the Ranger will be significantly narrower than the Bronco. It will still communicate its off-road intentions with its wider-than-usual body, but it’s not as extreme as the Raptor’s massive fenders suggest.
We hope to see the Ranger Raptor as the standard truck soon has been revealed. If our previous predictions are correct, it could launch as a 2023 model.
