Ford Escape 2023 spy photos show Mach-E styling inspiration

It seems Ford think it’s time to let Ford Escape Compact SUV a refresh, though all new for 2020. And based on those shoot spies, it will look more aggressive and follow the styling due to Mustang Mach-E.

The nose gets the biggest overhaul. The headlights are slimmer and don’t sweep as far to the rear as they do now. The leading edges of the hood have been moved forward to meet the crests of those headlights. The grille has been moved higher and also meets the edges of the hood. Combined with a grille shape that is more like a smiley grille than a smiley grille, the facelift gives Escape a taller, slimmer design that would serve well in a market that favors more ruggedness crossovers and SUVs. Plus, it helps it fit in Mustang Mach-E, as well as New Evos and Mondeo in other markets.

Most of the rest of this Escape looks unchanged, refresh is expected. It looks like there might be some minor tweaks to the taillights, as they have obvious corners. But it’s hard to get a full picture when the hatch-mounted halves appear to be second-hand pieces.

As the Escape 2022 models continue on their current design, we expect this refresh to launch alongside the 2023 model year. And as such, it will likely launch in the first half of next year and go on sale. later this year. There may be some feature changes, but we expect the powertrain lineup to remain essentially unchanged, including three-cylinder turbo, four-cylinder turbo and four-cylinder turbo. mixture and dip into the mixture option.
