While these prices are low, keep in mind that they only apply to basic economy class. United’s base economy doesn’t allow passengers to bring hand luggage, and seat selection includes an additional fee. Passengers also cannot exchange tickets or receive refunds for cancellations when flying in United’s basic economy class.
United also has a variety of packages you can choose from, providing access to the United Club, seat selection, and checked baggage. These packages range from $50 to $105, and you have to choose one for each flight.
