Five superbikes collided on the Kuala Lumpur – Karak highway at KM26.5 heading to KL, causing a traffic jam of 8.5 km


Congestion was reported on the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway due to an accident involving 5 superbikes at KM26.5 in the direction of the highway towards Kuala Lumpur at around 1:45pm today. New Straits Times report.

The expressway’s fast lane remained closed at 2:30 p.m., when traffic slowed from KM35 in the direction of Genting Sempah-Gombak to the crash site, said ANIH Berhad senior general manager Radzimah Mohd Radzi, told the news site.

“We ask all motorway users to be patient and careful while driving, in addition to following the instructions of officers on the scene,” he said. From the social media posts related to the incident, it is understood that there were no injuries at the time, however the five motorcyclists involved are believed to have suffered serious injuries.
