Fantasy Waiver Wire Week 12: Ty Johnson, Taysom Hill Among Top Free Agent Shuttles

Never a good sign at the end of this season when a QB is the headliner giving up, but Orange Newton was one of the very few players to stand out last weekend. He, along with the Jets handcuffed RBs Ty Johnson and Tevin Colemanand WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling, will be among Top Week 12 Free Pick Up And More Free Agents. No one in this group is shouting “must add”, so players will be targeted as freelancers after Waivers being removed around 4-5 a.m. ET on Wednesday mornings during Yahoo and ESPN tournaments are more important this week.

Let’s face it – it’s streaming season. Thus, our full free agent list mainly includes Week 12 streaming recommendations in QB, WR, TE, and D/ST. We also have some potential worms, such as DeAndre Carter and Jamison Crowder, who caught our eye in Week 11, but most of those players are nothing more than deckchairs that can be swapped out for players currently on your bench. It is possible that they are trending up and about to peak at the “right time”, but it is also possible that they gradually become irrelevant in the long run. Week 12 streamers can be found at the end of this list. If you participate in Black Friday deals, you can also watch The 12th week virtual stone player rankings free of charge!

Because this hasn’t been a strong week for pickups, you’d better save your high claims. Some RBs, like Johnson, Coleman, Rex Burkhead, David Johnson, and Boston Scott, may have a low claim value, but unless you’re desperate, there’s no need to spend valuable FAAB money or give up statuses. on the boundary. Also, there’s a good chance some pickups will show up over the weekend as we learn more about the injury, so you may need to claim a waiver depending on how the waiver agency system works. / your free.

In the end, it’s all about survival and advancement at this point in the season, so do what you have to. If you need a TE or QB because you used Patrick Mahomes or Travis Kelce without a backup, by all means spend it to get one. But if your roster is solid and you’re just looking for flexibility, then you could do just as well (or better) with someone on your bench or the free agent rope.

Top fantasy football exemptions for Week 12

Unless otherwise noted, only players who own less than 50% of Yahoo leagues will be considered.

Ty Johnson and Tevin Coleman, RBs, Jets. After Michael Carter injured his ankle in week 11, Johnson and Coleman split time in the New York backyard. The focus seems to be on Johnson, who has been more successful this season, but it is more likely Coleman will lead the Jets on the roster if Carter is absent. Either way, both could be worth it thanks to a favorable game against Houston in Week 12. It’s a bit risky to spend a high waiver request on either, but if you’re hurting at RB, Either of these could pay off this week.

Marvin Jones and Laviska Shenault, WRs, Jaguars. With Jamal Agnew (deceased) for the year, Jones and Shenault sought more consistent goals. This year hasn’t been particularly good, but against the Falcons bottom-breaking defense in Week 12, one (or both) is in a good position to break through. Jones has more big play/standard tournament potential, while Shenault thinks there’s a bit more scoring in the PPR tournaments. However, the two are pretty much equal in terms of advantages, and during a rough week for WR you may need to pick one and stack them in your WR3 or flex position.

Taysom Hill, QB, Saints. Many thought Hill would take over at center back when Jameis Winston (knee) was placed in the IR, but Trevor Siemian agreed instead. After some lackluster performances by Siemian, rumors are circulating about the possibility of a sub. If that happens, Hill will have a borderline QB1 value like last year. Essentially, he offers the exact same kind of production as the Cam Newton, right down to the same floor and ceiling. New Orleans’ catchers aren’t as strong as Carolina’s, but Hill could have had more of a chance to run towards goal. Either way, he’ll be worth owning if he starts, at least after a tough game against Buffalo in Week 12.

WEEK 12 STANDARD RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

Boston Scott, RB, Eagle. With Jordan Howard (knee) out for at least a week, Scott should see healthy touchdowns back in the Eagles’ No 2. It’s clear that Philadelphia has turned to a run-oriented attacking playstyle and Scott has shown the ability to choose difficult distances between the balls of the ball, even often around goal. Even if Howard is eliminated, the Eagles are likely to swing back. Going up against the Giants in Week 12, that means potential snappy value for Scott.

David Johnson, RB, Texan. Johnson actually received 5 fewer carries than Rex Burkhead last week, but he handled all the RB picks and had 16 touchdowns in total. That results in a total of just 34 yards, but if he has multiple chances against the Jets in Week 12, he will produce worthy stats. So far, New York allows the most fantasy points per game to run backwards, so it’s possible that both Burkhead and Johnson could work in fantasy lineups.
