Rolls-Royce Cullinan: Facelift launched | Car expert

My sixth birthday is approaching Rolls-Royce Cullinan got a bolder face and an even more luxurious interior.

Most of the visual changes with the so-called Series II update were made at the front, where a new slightly taller grille featured lighting for the first time.

On either side are new headlights, now surrounded by an L-shaped driving light arc. The lower air intakes ditch the rectangular shape for a slightly more aggressive and less classic look than the Rolls-Royce.

The choice of a sportier design may have caused the average age of Rolls-Royce buyers to drop from 56 in 2010 to 43 today.

Along the sides there are new rubbing strips and gloss black door sills, as well as new alloy wheel designs, including a new 23-inch option.

While at the rear, changes are limited to the lower bumper with gloss black being the new color. The exhaust tips now feature mirror-finish stainless steel trim, while the cladding is made of polished stainless steel.

Step inside and the interior will look immediately familiar. Although the dashboard architecture is unchanged, the upper section now has a single glass panel that spans the entire width of the car.

Behind the glass is BMW’s latest infotainment system – renamed Spirit on Rolls-Royce cars – and a new customizable digital clock display.

Those sitting in the back seats can pair Bluetooth headphones with the sound system or enjoy the 1400W 18-speaker sound system.

The front passenger section is an “Illuminated Fascia” area containing 3D-effect laser-engraved cityscape graphics and Cullinan branding. If the standard design isn’t to your liking, Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke department can create a personalized work of art.

Located between the dashboard and infotainment screen is an analog clock, below which is an illuminated stainless steel Spirit of Ecstasy statue set in glass.

The interior of the Cullinan has been adorned with a variety of new materials, such as new open-pore wood options and a new bamboo-derived rayon twill seating fabric, dubbed Duality Twill, which can be embroidered with logos. The brand’s interlocking R.

A complete interior trimmed with Duality Twill takes around 20 hours to complete and will involve 2.2 million stitches and nearly 18km of thread.

Additionally, buyers can specify a Placed Perforation trim that features up to 107,000 perforations spaced 0.8 to 1.2 mm apart to recreate the cloudscape of Rolls-Royce’s Goodwood headquarters.

Being a Rolls-Royce, most customers will probably delve into the car’s options list or engage the services of the company’s Bespoke customization department.

Cullinan is still equipped with a twin-turbo V12 gasoline engine, 6.75 liter capacity.

The company hasn’t released any specifications regarding the powertrain, but it’s safe to assume that it still produces 420kW/850Nm in the standard version and 441kW/900Nm in the Black version. Badges.
