The Thanksgiving games have two sub-teams of the main and bye vehicle Kansas City and Arizona, our FanDuel Week 12 league lineup is forced to have some boom or bust options that we haven’t yet. called many in this season. Hopefully, we’ve found enough high-back sleepers to complement studs like Austin Ekeler and Ja’Marr Chase and push us into the green. We like the value available to justify spending premium RB and WR, so we’re applying a best-practice approach to our NFL DFS picks this week.
Before we get into this week’s lineup, here are the ground rules for FanDuel competitions. Grading is pretty standard, with the only notable settings being TDs pass four points and Half point PPR.
FanDuel Picks Week 12: NFL DFS lineups for GPP tournaments
Main vehicle on Sunday, $60,000 budget, no more than four players from a team
QB Matt Ryan, Falcons @ Jaguars ($7,100). Ryan’s recent form – three single-digit FanDuel games in his past four – is sure to keep his possession low. He will have more weapons at his disposal with the alleged return of Cordarrelle Patterson. Not to mention, Kyle Pitts won’t faint to the same extent as last week. Ryan and the Falcons will be interested in banishing the demons that have haunted them in the fighting games and could cause some nasty frustrations on Sunday.
RB Austin Ekeler, Chargers @ Broncos ($8,400). Ekeler just had his second 30-plus FD performance of the season, and he will continue to threaten on the ground and in the air. He has 13 touches in total, so another point (or two) could be on the card. However, it might be a bit greedy to expect four more.
RB Miles Sanders, Eagles @ Giants ($6,100). Sanders leads with 16 take-ins from IR. Jordan Howard (knee) is in doubt for Sunday’s contest, opening more opportunities for Sanders, at least in theory. The Eagles have made a more concerted effort to achieve a working balance in recent weeks, and Sanders will benefit from this correction going forward.
WR Ja’Marr Chase, Bengals vs Steelers ($7,700). Chase was relatively quiet during the Bengals’ game against the Raiders last week, but he scored his eighth goal of the season. Chase scored twice on his first visit with the Steelers, and while they will certainly be aware of that fact, stopping him will be another story.

WR Diontae Johnson, Steelers @ Bengals ($7,100). Johnson has scored 13 goals in five of his last seven games. He averages 12.7 yards per catch and has scored three touchdowns in that span. If he continues to get the quantity and quality that is his goal in addition to playing regularly, we’ll want him in our squad, especially given the modest salary.
WR Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers vs Vikings ($6,300). Don’t look now, but the 49ers finally have their three-headed monster working on all cylinders. Aiyuk has taken a while for things to go smoothly, but he has scored in two of his past three games and has racked up at least 15.7 FD points twice in that span. He’ll share with Deebo Samuel and George Kittle, but he’ll continue to get enough mass for most of the week to deal a lot of damage.

TE Kyle Pitts, Falcons @ Jaguars ($6,600). The Falcons have been destroyed and humiliated in recent weeks, so this is a place where they should be expected to debut with some juice. The Pitts should have more room to work against a Jaguars defense that won’t be able to match the Patriots’ performance from last week. The last time the Pitts were in Florida, he scored 19.8 FD points against the Dolphins. Another quality performance of his will be shown on Sunday.
FLEX (RB) AJ Dillon, Packers vs. Rams ($6,900). Dillon didn’t have the record we expected, but he played well overall, averaging 4.8 yards per take and catching all six of his goals. He’s appreciated for another start, and it’s reasonable to expect a more imagination-friendly performance. Dillon can impact the game in all important areas – ground, air and red areas.
DEF Falcons @ Jaguars ($3,800). The Falcons were late. Can not deny that. However, the Jaguars are one of the game’s worst offenders. The Falcons’ defensive coordinator, Dean Pees, had a few more days to get past the 68 points they’ve surrendered to over the past two weeks. At the very least, we should have enough output to justify our low-cost defensive approach.
