Explore Baja, Mexico with Documentary Trips
With the coronavirus pandemic finally retreating and reopening to tourism, you’re probably struggling a little bit to get back into the country. An obvious choice is Mexico, where the great big animals of the Baja Peninsula are at the top of the list.
A great way to experience Baja is with a trip led by a veteran underwater filmmaker—especially, of course, if videography is your thing. Among the best in the business are Documentary film tripswith a team that includes Steve De Neef, Diego Garcia and Brian Marleau, who have worked with clients such as the BBC Natural History Unit, National Geographic, Disney, Discovery Channel, NBC, ESPN and Channel News Asia.
The Trips documentary is about to have some great Baja trips. Are from February 21-25, the group heads to Magdalena Bay to socialize with gray whales and swim with makos, blue sharks, and anything else they can find in the open ocean. For them May 29 – June 3 and June 6 to 13 on their trips, they travel across the region in search of orcas, large schools of mobula, and various species of sharks and whales (maybe even a blue whale). They even enlisted the help of a spotting plane to maximize encounter rate!
