Excited to work again with Joli Irvineand her equally wonderful sister, alexi, both bring extraordinary grace and physicality to the camera. Veterans of several Vegas shows (they’re in Awakening, the new show at Wynn) and Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, both of them, along with many other talented artists, will gather at our workshops in various locations. The extraordinary duo below, Wayne And Katwill also be working with us!
Joli will be our “talent arranger” for the week, as she knows a lot of performers and has unique resources we can draw from. And we will provide a twist! She will be a guest lecturer for our photographers at the beginning of the week.
In most workshops, you are assigned a model and you have time to work together, and that process works well. But given Joli’s experience in front of the camera, what struck me is that it would be helpful if she sat down and talked to all of us about what talent needs most from the eyes and minds behind. camera. Orientation, to be sure, but also connection, dialogue and ongoing commitment towards craft excellence and a clear vision of what the painting’s creative destination might be.
Alexi and Joli teamed up to produce (aside from nightly stage appearances) a great health and fitness piece of advice called Health blend. With Mike Cali, our former captain, during a visit to Joli’s house, we sampled her patented healthy oatmeal breakfast. Haven’t had a good oatmeal since then.
