Everyone, You’d better vote for Better Energy Policy, and Fast – Better with that?

From BOE REPORT

If there’s any point to writing energy, it’s probably trying to assemble different bits of information that the average citizen is too busy to notice, the kind of random and complex statistics and events that just Real weirdos spend their spare time. Truffle pig looking for truffles.

People learn about energy from daily news hours like learning about anatomy by watching Jackass. For the real story, follow the nerds. If someone hears an activist and/or federal cabinet minister in the news talk about a linear path towards Net Zero 2050 because of their wondrous policies and that person thinks this is true, then you should check with the mice the life data as they combine and silently come up with statistics that are not widely available, such as what the real story is like India and China (and Germany) is going back to using coal, and any non-net plan starts from there.

Energy buffs go through all this and find threads about how things are going in the world, and (usually) then put it in the world on Substack and claim $50 a year. Others do it just because they can’t help themselves.

There are so many people doing this, to great effect, to help the world understand energy rather than the crap, misdirection and disinformation that the mainstream media is used to. 29dk2902lhttps://boereport.com/29dk2902l.html

But every energy analyst worth their salt is thwarted by the energy frenzy that Western leaders have staged. Some things can’t be analyzed or identified other than saying “There’s something decaying there and I can’t tell what it is.”

Politicians have abandoned the literary and logical framework in which we exist. Like they announced a new law that to save the planet all concrete will be replaced with tofu, effective immediately. How would you explain that change to the happiness of the world?

Thanks to the quality of our politicians, it is not difficult to find such spectacularly definitive statements as such a prime example. I’ll warm you up with one little thing: One day, U.S. President Biden proudly announced that this fiscal year, the federal deficit will shrink by $1.7 trillion, “the largest drop in a single year.” history”.

If you go crazy and run your credit card up to a maximum of $30,000, ten times your normal maximum, then make a payment of $15,000, the largest from Yours so far – is that the moment where pride begins? Hey, I can relate. In my spare time, I burn down my house for something, but I know it’s bad for a lot of you, so I’m excited to announce that this year I’m going to cut my ignitions by 90%. A personal record, and you are welcome.

Biden’s comments though were just random political bragging, with no consequences. The real problem is that politicians don’t seem to realize that when they bring their nonsense into the realm of physical reality, such nonsense can be deadly on a huge scale.

Here is an example. The United States has made a promises to increase LNG to Europe, which means building more LNG export infrastructure and perhaps increasing production to meet that demand. Then there is a promise hardly earlier to slow US hydrocarbon production by stopping oil/gas leases (in 2021: “We’ve waited too long to deal with the climate crisis. We can’t wait any longer.”) caused him to make roadblocks it is getting harder and harder to build any new oil/gas infrastructure. Two years earlier was a Biden campaign proposal to throw fossil fuel executives in jail because of their contribution to emissions, but now he explosion of oil executives for not producing more.

Biden’s politically helpful but confusing message has company. He (like most Western leaders) made two promises to those who could not exist together. He/they have promised to have an abundant, reliable clean energy source and eliminate the hydrocarbon industry as soon as possible. His team can’t have both. It is impossible.

There will be an energy transition, if and only if the hydrocarbon industry is recognized and considered the bedrock of society, and if its full arsenal of talent and infrastructure is maximized. . There will be global chaos, food shortages, fuel shortages, heating fuel shortages and a mass reversal in coal if Biden, Trudeau, the EU and others follow their polarizing path, if they continue not to think.

Voters must decide. Some of you have voted fools who are, metaphorically speaking, ready to burn down all your houses on the grounds that this is an opportunity to build again better and create more. construction work.

Forget about “hurting” the oil and gas industry. Lawsuits, unjustifiable “Scope 3” emissions accounting (whereby the US is proposing that hydrocarbon companies report emissions from using their products – a hopeless calculation exercise of just one Only a social scientist can dream – will Exxon’s fuel go into a Formula 1 car, or an ambulance, or a Toyota Prius hybrid, or a coal truck? Or a jet plane? Or a tractor ? Because the model needs to know).

What’s left of the industry is producing what the world desperately needs at prices that will be inflated in the near future to absurd levels. Any more arrows sent to the hydrocarbon industry will only further constrain supply, and push prices even higher, and those companies will make even more profits.

The voters’ choice is to save lives as we know it, or continue to elect energy fools.

You must choose your emergency; you cannot run from both. Is the emergency due to a lack of fuel, or is it presumption of worst-case temperatures in 2070? Are you part of a “fossil fuel lobby” or part of a “fossil fuel regulator”? Has Greta left the room, with the request to “see the panic leaders”?

The “fossil fuel corridor” belongs to each of us, because we owe it to our lives and the government really knows it. That’s why they leave supportive images on the backs of all the activists who have drawn up all their childish energy policies.

For longtime energy addicts who pay attention to reality, the focus is shifting. I am not interested in debating the effectiveness of government net zero policies. I have a stockpile of food, making shaping and maintaining we find much more enjoyable.
