To book this offer, start by searching for your airport and destination via Google Flightsas I did with the search from New York to Amsterdam.
Once you’ve identified a flight that fits your schedule, I recommend booking directly through the airline, even if doing so results in a slightly higher price, which is the case with this flight. .

Many of the flights on this deal, including this one, will have at least one pause, so be sure to consider that for planning purposes. However, some, such as this one hour stopover at Dublin Airport (DUB) are much more manageable than others.
The lowest priced flights will be for the carrier’s most restrictive economy fares, in this example Aer Lingus economy fares. This fare includes one carry-on baggage but charges between $25-$65 for checked baggage depending on size.
While baggage fees vary by carrier, you’ll want to charge between $27-$75 each way for baggage in addition to the fare, depending on the airline.
Maximize your purchases
If you book this offer, use your credit card to earn reward points on your flight tickets, including Platinum Card® from American Express (5 points per dollar on airline tickets booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel up to $500,000 for these purchases per calendar year) or Citi Prestige® Card (also gives you 5 points per dollar on airfare). For 3 points per dollar for airfare, consider Citi Premier® Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve or American Express® Gold Card (when booking directly with airlines on Amex Travel). Or try Chase Sapphire Preferred Card for 2 points per dollar when traveling.

Key point
A $500 round-trip flight from the US to Europe is a great thing in any case, especially when the dollar is still particularly strong against the euro.
Not only can you save money on airfare with this offer, but you can also use that savings once you’ve arrived in Europe. According to my experimental search done for this story, some of these flights only have a few seats left, so hurry to book if interested.
